    Description

    Great antique wooden box featuring advertising for Woodside Farms, Inc.  This piece is particularly interesting in that it was manufactured by the Industrial Home for the Blind in Brooklyn, NY which helped integrate its residents into society by finding work for them..
    On the inside, it is marked "M'F'D for Woodside Farms Inc. by Industrial Home For the Blind, Brooklyn, NY."
    The box measures about 12.5" tall and the base is about 10.25" x 9.25".  Condition is as seen in photos.  Scratches, worn/missing paint, rust on the hinges, some cracks in the wood, and other wear.  Please take a look and feel free to ask any questions.  Thanks!!!
