BACKPACKING POT SET- ALUMINUM WITH NONSTICK COATING
I’ve owned these pots for years. I am selling them because now that I’m old, I have to cut every gram possible from my load, and these pots are a few ounces heavier than the lightest gear available today. These pots are well made and being aluminum, they heat evenly. You can slow cook or simmer easily with these pots and a proper stove.
The small pot has seen the most use, and is ideal for solo backpacking trips. It is 2.5” high and 4.5” wide inside, holding comfortably a little over a pint. The inside finish is in good shape. Outside, there is wear on the finish at the bottom, as shown in one of the pics, and there is a small dent near the bottom, also shown in a pic. The pot weighs 133 grams.
The large pot has seen little use and is what I used on two person trips. It is 3” high and 6.25” wide inside, comfortably holding about a quart. The inside finish is good, but there is one spot, shown in a pic, where the finish is worn through. The pot weighs 205 grams.
The lid, which fits both pots, has some wear on the inside finish near the outer edge. The lid weighs 85 grams.
The nonstick finish works much better than a lot of the cook pots currently available, many of which are hard anodized.
