Description
I have several Follet Symphony Ice Makers / Water Dispensers listed for sale in 25 lb and 12 lb models. There are two of this 12 lb model available and I have depicted them both together in my last picture. This listing is for one machine. Contact me for a bulk discount if you buy more than one.
For some unknown reason the posted pictures make these machines look wider and shorter than they actually are. Please go by the stated dimensions in my written description to gauge the size.
This Follett Symphony 12CI400A Ice Chewblet/Cubelet Maker Machine & Water Dispenser is used but in excellent cosmetic and tested working condition. Ready to use and super quiet while running. Makes the small chewblet/cubelet sonic style ice (see pic). I guarantee it will not be DOA. I removed the covers and posted pictures of the inside of the machine to show how clean it is.
Comes with ice maker, stainless steel construction and operators manual. This machine is very fast and produces small cubed ice after being turned on for about 10 minutes. The water dispensed is refrigerated. Perfect counter top model for hospital, cafeteria, school, convenience store, restaurant or nursing home.
It has an ice production capacity of 400 pounds per day, an internal ice storage capacity of 12 lbs, Drain tray with rack and 2 infrared sensors for dispensing ice or water and it is hands free. Corrosion resistant stainless steel case. Uses R-404A refrigerant and has 115 voltage.

This Follett 12CI400A Symphony countertop air cooled ice maker and water dispenser is the perfect solution to ice and water dispensing in your healthcare facility, retirement community, or restaurant! Its ice maker produces up to 400 lb. of soft, chewable Chewblet compressed nugget ice per day. This type of ice is often preferred over cubes for its ability to conform when used in ice packs. It is also chewable and perfect for filling cups and pitchers.
This ice maker and dispenser is designed for optimum sanitation. The automatic self-flushing feature removes more impurities so that you are a left with cleaner, better flavored ice.
In addition, this ice machine features SensorSAFE infrared ice dispensing technology. Simply hold the cup under the dispenser and it will automatically dispense ice without any contact between your hands or cup, and the machine. This innovative design helps prevent cross contamination and infection by reducing contact.
This Follett ice machine and dispenser uses R-404A refrigerant that has a zero ozone depletion potential and its continuous ice making process uses less electricity and water. This unit uses 12 gallons of potable water per 100 lb. of ice and has a storage capacity of 12 lbs.
This Follett ice maker and dispenser features a LED control board provides instant access to the machine status and settings. The durable stainless steel panels are easy to remove in order to perform maintenance on the machine, and the other components like the poly drain pan, grill, and dispenser lid are corrosion-resistant so that you can count on them for a long time to come. 115 V 60HZ
Condition & Testing
For some unknown reason the posted pictures make these machines look wider and shorter than they actually are. Please go by the stated dimensions in my written description to gauge the size. All the Follett Symphony machines I have came out of the same hospital with service tags indicating they were last serviced January 2020. When we hooked this ice machine up to water, it produced ice in just under 10 minutes, and water immediately. This machine runs smoothly and quietly. The stainless steel finish is decent but does have some overall minor tarnish and there are some normal water deposits on the bottom. We dont have a clue how long it has been since the internal filters were changed?  There are no operational issues. Attractive machines with some normal sign of overall use but no damage. I notice the plastic trim on the top edge of both machines are a little warped but not bad enough to require replacement and this area is not visible when machine is set up. Attach water and drain lines and these machines are ready to use. There is no water supply line or drain line included. The operating manual is a photocopy.
