    Description

Once upon a time, a "milk man" came to your house and delivered fresh milk in glass bottles, which were later picked up when empty.  This ad emphasizes the transition from glass to cartons, and encourages the milk man to "start delivering our milk in safe, modern Pure-Pak cartons...and save yourself that trip to the truck with empties."  A December 1961 ad from
    Better Homes and Gardens
magazine, it also promotes the cartons as being "smash proof and shatterproof" as compared to the glass bottles - a definite advantage when children are handling the cartons.  It's a great ad of the period and is in excellent condition with no tears, marks, creases or fading.  Measuring 9 1/4" x 12 1/4", it's one you can easily mat and frame, to preserve a glimpse of the "good old days" for the younger folks, who now only see plastic bottles.  From a smoke free, pet free home, and will be shipped in a protective plastic sleeve with cardboard support.  Thanks for checking it out.    124
