Dayton Hudson Polar Explorer Bear with Gortex Parka. INFO TAG IS STILL ATTACHED. No stains or odors. The first year that the Dayton Hudson Department Stores released a "Santa Bear" was 1985. They were scooped up almost as soon as they hit the shelves. These bears soon became a yearly collectible for many children and adults. I have almost the whole collection, minus years 1985, 1987, and 2000-2004.
The 1989 Santa Bear is the 5th in the series. This bear has been in storage for several years so in MINT condition. Need to sell bears as I’m moving to a new house with less space.
