    Elizabeth Corinne Pauli Waterall
was an American book illustrator and graphic artist, particularly active in the 1920s and 1930s.
Born in 1884 in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of Harry A. Pauli and Adelaide Elizabeth Lindsay. Her maternal uncle, Thomas Corwin Lindsay, was a noted artist from Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1929 she married Howard Lehman Waterall.
Credited variously as E. Corinne Pauli and Corinne Pauli Waterall, she illustrated a number of books by such authors as Jane D. Abbott, Margaret Widdemer, and Gertrude Hildreth. She also illustrated the Tom and Ruth Stories by Sister Mary Estelle, and is thought to have contributed the artwork to a number of Campbell Soup Company’s posters. She died in 1946, at the age of sixty-one.
    Sheffield Farms
pasteurized, bottled, and delivered milk in New York City in the first half of the 20th century, becoming one of the largest dairy companies in the world, and selling 20% of the city’s milk. The company played a major part in transforming commercial milk from a dirty, disease-spreading product into a clean and healthy one.
