Built an ice factory in 1905 and began manufacturing ice cream
In 1926, two years after Chapin's death, Chapin-Sacks' new owners renamed firm Southern Dairies
Beginning in the 1940s, Sealtest begin overseeing Southern Dairies ice cream production
Sealtest National Dairy Corp logo appeared c1948
