Vintage Omega 14K Yellow Gold Ladies Mechanical Watch – Byzantine Open Link Band

Description

This is an exquisite Swiss-made vintage Omega solid yellow gold mechanical (manual, wind-up) watch with a wide Byzantine-style open link band. The elongated gold tone oval face has an analog display and is surrounded by a scalloped gold bezel. The Byzantine open-link band gradually decreases from 10 mm (next to the oval face) to 8 mm (next to the clasp).
The band looks like interlocking leaves or Spiga (wheat).
The security clasp has an internal second clasp that allows for 2 adjustments in the width of the band by a
4 mm
increment. The clasp carries the iconic Omega symbol. The watch has been jeweler-serviced and is in excellent read-to-wear condition. This elegant piece was meticulously cared for by my mother for many decades.
